About
I design for people first. Regardless if it's a room, a product, or a system.
I've always been interested in how people move through the world and the spaces they inhabit.
That curiosity has taken me down a path that hasn't been particularly linear. I started in finance, where I learned to think carefully about value, trade-offs, and long-term consequences. Before studying design formally, I spent eight years in my family's interior contracting business, working across procurement, fabrication, and installation. That experience grounded me in the realities of how spaces are actually made and continues to shape how I approach design today.
Studying design at UC Berkeley gave me a new language for understanding people, place, and experience. During my penultimate year at Berkeley, I joined the Apple Developer Academy, where I learned to build software and digital products. Although the outputs were different, both experiences reinforced the same belief: thoughtful design starts with empathy and becomes meaningful through execution.
Looking back, these experiences might seem unrelated. To me, they've always been connected by the same question: how do we create things that are genuinely useful for people?
Whether I'm designing a room, developing a product, or exploring a new idea, I'm interested in understanding the human at the centre of it. The longer I work, the more I find that good design is often less about adding things and more about knowing what can be removed.
I work from Indonesia, but I'm interested in ideas, products, and collaborations that aren't limited by geography. My hope is to create work that remains useful and meaningful long after I've stepped away from it.
